Mike Janas and Missie Nordrum are the founders and co-owners of DB Delivery Solutions. We are the heart and soul of the company, and we are committed to providing you with an exceptional product. The Receptor was designed and developed by Mike to solve the growing problems associated with our changing shopping habits. From the first prototype to the latest model, our goal has been to manufacture the highest quality, most aesthetically pleasing, and easiest to use delivery bin. The Receptor is a one-time investment that will increase the value of your home.
We sincerely believe every home needs a Receptor. A Receptor can easily be incorporated into all new homes being built today and they can also be retrofit into most existing homes. When people know their deliveries are safe, their time is freed up for more important things in their lives. There’s no more waiting around or asking neighbors to be watching for a delivery, or worrying about children answering the door for a food delivery, or having a package ruined because it is left out in the rain or snow.
As we know, porch piracy is one of the fastest growing problems facing homeowners who are ordering more and more online, and thieves are getting outrageously brazen about stealing packages. They will literally wave at your security camera as they steal your packages. The question is…how can we keep letting this happen? We’re well into the 21st century and most of us get more packages than mail these days. Just like a mailbox provides a secure place for mail, the Receptor gives us a dedicated place for all the other deliveries that we are now getting.
As we move forward, we will keep listening to our customers and refining and expanding our product line with features that improve the way home deliveries are received and secured.
Our experience with the Receptor has been amazing. We made the choice to feature it in a model home during a Parade of Homes and the feedback we got from the public as they walked through the home was incredible!

I have delivered items to Receptors and it’s a very user-friendly process. The instructions are clearly printed on the keypad and this is a very safe and secure way to have your packages delivered.

My Receptor was installed last summer. I have a ranch house and the living room was the best location to put it. It is so convenient when my pizza comes and all I have to do is reach over and there it is. I leave the tip in the Receptor and there is no contact with anyone. I love it!
